Radical change can be strategic. To change our present state of poor leadership, we must push individuals who put the people first, make campaigns about issues and force all parties to present same and the weapon is the win while doing ONLY what is right.

Law making is no longer about the issues so much so people run for Senate without even having or mentioning their policies or the Bills they intend to push.
Corruption and cutting corners is normal in the political process and public life because people have come to believe that things must be done in a certain way for there to be success. We must begin to negate this by;
Making campaigns about issues and interest of the people is the first step, winning without cutting corners is the second while inspiring others to do the same because you did them and still won is the third. Then we get to the work itself.
Be the wall in the oversight functions that cannot be penetrated. Be where corruption goes to die because it cannot pass through.
Create a local Parliament where ordinary people come to decide what I push to the Senate. Also take Bills to the Court of Public Opinion via social media.
Bills to ensure the people live a better life. Sometimes it is a simple idea that changes the living condition of our people. Less work hours, logistics help and the likes.
The Office will have security personnel who will accompany the oppressed in cases of oppression especially involving class difference. Their job will be to ensure no one overpowers another using wealth and status. Not a Kobo will be charged for this.
The People's Office will have a number of lawyers working under full employment to take cases for the poor and oppressed for FREE. This way people can sue from when DISCOs blow up their devices to when they are harassed by the powerful to just any case of injustice.
We will also engage a unit to settle civil cases so that people do not have to retort to self help or court process. Counsellors in this Unit will also make effort to resolve family and marital issues. Business to Business connections can also be made here under strict structure and rules.
We will have an intelligence gathering unit which will work with the people and operate drones around hot spots for kidnapping and other related crimes. These information will be feed to the DSS and Police from time to time.
We will run, as part of The People's Office, a free workspace for people who are trying to build digital businesses and freelancers who want to work and earn from abroad. Furniture, power and internet will be provided around the clock.
We will create a digital market place like Fiverr, Upwork and the likes but this time for Nigerian youths in the area who will either come over to deliver jobs posted from abroad on the site or work from home. This platform will be government backed so it will attract the confidence of clients from abroad and youths can earn in foreign currency.
Another area of empowerment is that part of The People's Office will be a Content House and content making equipment will be available for registered young people to access and make their content so they could earn from same. This Unit will also generate funds for other projects of the District.
A Unit of The People's Office will process loans with zero interest for residents and give grants to those deserving. This will be based on need NOT connection. It will also help SMEs secure grants from international organizations.
We can change the narrative, it just takes a few of us who will say your money no longer works. We want what we want, and you better come correct.
